Workshop on "Trauma, Restorative Justice, and Healing"

Description
The discussion will have special interest for persons who are part of small communities including families, schools and churches. 
 
Presenter will be Rev. Dr. Al Fuertes, Professor of Conflict Resolution at George Mason University and co-pastor of Wellspring United Church of Christ in Centreville.  Wellspring is sponsoring the workshop as a service for the community.
 
Dr. Fuertes is a leader in Trauma Healing and Conflict Resolution around the world, and has done extensive work in Asia, including his native Philippines where he graduated from Silliman University; and in Cambodia and Burma.  He is currently planning for a major conflict resolution conference in the Philippines, where government and rebel groups have asked him to lead them in a process to end the continuing violence there.
 
Cost of the day will be $25, which will cover snacks and lunch as well as materials.   Participants may pay by check (made out to Wellspring UCC) or by cash at the workshop.  Special fee for George Mason students is $15!
 
The workshop will be held in the Johnson Center, third floor, room D.  Parking with a fee is available at the Mason Pond Parking Deck, or free parking at the K lot across from Mason Pond.
